The main language of instruction is French, the secondary language being English.

The lessons are taught:

- in French and English at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne;
- in French and English at the University of Padua;
- in French at the University of Evora.

Students benefit from an opportunity of language courses throught their Master’s training. Upon arrival at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, they benefit from an intensive course for the French language, accompanied by courses in civilization and methodology.

In addition to these two languages, everything is done to allow students to learn Italian and Portuguese. Apprenticeshipis are encouraged during the semester in Italy, the semester in Portugal and regular language courses. Upon leaving the Master’s Degree, students are expected be able to express themselves in four European languages.

The curriculum includes a specific language course each semester, worth 5 ECTS credits:

- Semester 1: University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
French, and for French speakers, introduction to Portuguese or Italian
English, and for English speakers, introduction to Portuguese or Italian

- Semester 2: University of Padua
Italian, and for Italophones, initiation or  reinforcement in French or Portuguese
English, and for English speakers initiation or reinforcement in French or Portuguese

- Semester 3: University of Evora
French, and for French speakers, initiation or reinforcement in Italian or English
Portuguese, and for Portuguese speakers, initiation or reinforcement in Italian or English

During the fourth semester, students receive advanced courses in the language of writing their Master's level thesis.
