Personal data is freely communicated to TPTI by the persons concerned by consenting to the processing and by taking note of the information notice displayed under the various contact forms. The data collected is adequate, useful, necessary and limited to the strict minimum. This includes identification data (surname, first name), organization, postal address, telephone number and connection data (e-mail address).

What is the legal basis for the processing carried out by this site?

TPTI's processing of your personal data is based:

  • either on your consent for all cases where you entrust your personal data yourself. Your consent may be withdrawn at any time;
  • or on legitimate interests pursued by TPTI;
  • or on compliance with a legal obligation, particularly in terms of exercising your rights under the RGPD and the Data Protection Act.

 

Who receives the data processed by this site?

Your personal data is primarily intended for TPTI, the site editor and data controller.

They are processed by the staff of the various departments concerned by your requests.

It is processed solely for the purposes indicated above. Your personal data is hosted in France and also by a subcontractor outside the European Union in a secure manner.

The subcontractor stores personal data on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment protected against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. They are never communicated to third parties for commercial purposes.

 

Is personal data transferred outside the European Union?

In the event of contractual transfer of personal data, TPTI ensures that the recipients comply with the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data. In this respect, TPTI has entered into a contractual commitment (CCT) with the subcontractor.

TPTI also monitors the compliance of all data recipients with the GDPR.

 

How are the personal data processed by this site secured?

TPTI is committed to protecting the personal data processed as part of this site, in compliance with the state of the art.

The following are the main security measures taken to protect your personal data:

  • all pages on the TPTI website are protected by the https protocol;
  • connection logging;
  • user blocking when a hacking attempt is detected;
  • personal data is deleted at the request of the person concerned or at the end of the retention period;
  • data is stored on data servers that comply with the highest technical security standards.

 

How long is personal data processed by this site kept?

Personal data collected as part of a demonstration request or via the contact form are used by TPTI and are kept for 25 months.

Supporting documents collected as part of exercising your rights are kept for the time it takes to process your request (1 month maximum, in accordance with CNIL and RGPD requirements).

This right applies when we process your data in order to pursue one of our legitimate interests, such as advertising on your social networking pages. In the event of a request to object on your part, we will analyze the reasons relating to your particular situation and investigate whether we have a legitimate and compelling reason to continue processing your data. If this is not the case, we will cease the processing concerned.

If you object to commercial canvassing, we will simply cease processing your data.

Withdrawal of consent

Where the processing of your Personal Data is based on your consent, the withdrawal of your consent prevents us from continuing to process the data in question.

Right to rectification and right to restriction

You may request the update or rectification of any Personal Data that you consider to be inaccurate or obsolete.

You may also request that processing be suspended, with the exception of the retention of Personal Data when:

  • you dispute the accuracy of the data (this limitation lasts for the time it takes us to verify any inaccuracy);

Where processing has been restricted, your Data may only be processed with your consent or for the exercise, establishment and defense of legal claims.

Right to portability

You have the right to receive the Personal Data you have directly provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

You also have the right to transmit this data or to request that we transmit it to another data controller.

This right only applies to processing based on the individual's consent, or on the performance of the contract and which is carried out using an automated process.

  Fate of Data in the event of death

In accordance with the provisions of article 85 of the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés), we hereby inform you that, as an individual:

  • you have the right to give us instructions concerning the storage, deletion and communication of your Personal Data after your death;
  • you may modify or revoke these instructions at any time;
  • you may designate a person to be responsible for the execution of these directives, who will be entitled after your death to be informed of the said directives and to request their implementation from us;
  • you are also informed that if you do not provide TPTI with specific instructions concerning the fate of your Personal Data, your heirs will be able to exercise, after your death, the rights relating to the conservation, deletion and communication of your Personal Data to the extent necessary for the organization and settlement of your estate and for TPTI to take into account your death.

You also have the right (where applicable) to formulate general or specific directives relating to the conservation, deletion and communication of your Personal Data after your death or the right to be forgotten.

 

How can I exercise my rights under the RGPD and the French Data Protection Act?

Your requests can be made in different ways:

  • by post, by writing to TPTI at 9 rue Malher - 75004 PARIS;
  • through a representative who will use one of the above channels to make the request.

Please make your request by one of the above means, enclosing a copy of your identity document.

For a request for right of access:

Please specify in your request which data or processing operations it concerns.

Your data will be sent to you electronically or by post, by recorded delivery with acknowledgement of receipt.

TPTI may require payment of a reasonable fee based on administrative costs for any additional copies requested (Article 15.3 of the GDPR).

In the event of manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, TPTI may require payment of reasonable fees that take into account the administrative costs incurred in providing the information or refuse to comply with such requests (Article 12.5 of the RGPD).

For a request for the right of rectification:

If you believe that information about you is inaccurate and should be rectified, please indicate precisely which data about you is inaccurate or incomplete, and provide any information enabling it to be corrected or completed (Article 15 of the RGPD).

For a request for the right to erasure:

Please state precisely the data concerning you that you are requesting to be erased, and the reasons for your request (Article 17 of the RGPD).

Please note: this right is not absolute, TPTI may be obliged to retain information about you, in particular in the context, in particular, of managing the commercial relationship (invoice management, litigation management) and in the context of documenting and providing evidence relating to the exercise of your rights.

Please state precisely the data concerning you whose processing you are requesting to be restricted, and the reasons for your request.

Please note: this right is not absolute; TPTI may decide to continue processing your data (Article 18.3 of the RGPD). Limitation, if implemented, may result in the suspension of services provided by TPTI (access to work and deliverables, receipt of information, etc.). These consequences will be described to you in the letter acknowledging receipt of your request to limit processing.

For a request for the right to object:

Please note: this right is not absolute. Please indicate precisely the processing for which you object to the management of your personal data, and the reasons for your request (Article 21 of the RGPD).

For a request for the right to portability:

Each user may at any time make a request for data portability in order to retrieve the personal data that TPTI has collected about him or her as part of processing based on consent and on the basis of a contract.
